How To Test Ps3 Power Supply So My PS3 Is Broken - How Do I Figure Out What Part Is Broken In It?

So my PS3 is broken - how do i figure out what part is broken in it? - how to test ps3 power supply

My PS3 makes a noise and went out. No flame or anything else.
I am sure the problem is that the supply or the power button.
The problem is, how can I know? Is there a way to prove this? Or do you think the problem lies elsewhere?
